I knew we wanted pies at our wedding from quite early on and when I saw Humble Pie's menu I knew we were on to a winner.
The selection of pies was excellent, really something for everyone's tastes. We went for canapes, starters and of course pies, as well as the evening buffet.
Our guests really enjoyed the food and had lots of nice things to say. I remember how on trying the scotch egg starter, my new husband's eyes went wide and he declared 'This is the best Scotch egg I've ever tasted' - high praise indeed! My only regret is I was too excited on the day to finish my whole pie, because it was delicious!
Toby and his team could not have been more accommodating - we had a number of vegan guests, some with food intolerances, gluten free etc. and nothing was a problem. They provided lovely cutlery and plates, organised tea and coffee, and cut our cake. The team were friendly, calm and professional which was very appreciated on such a busy day. I would definitely recommend Humble Pie to anyone thinking of pies for their event!

Hi Toby,
Liam and I have just returned from our mini moon and have had time to reflect on our wedding day. We just wanted to say thank you for everything and we (and our guests), had the most magical day. Every single person said it was the best wedding they had ever attended and that the food was out of this world!
Everything from canapés, starters, pies to the bar was incredible!

Working with the Humble Pie for our wedding was an extremely pleasurable experience from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for them and Toby was so helpful.
They did aMy husband and I were both so happy with the service we received from The Humble Pie and are incredibly happy that we chose them as our wedding caterers. Toby was great beforehand and went through every detail with us, so we didn't have to panic before the day at all.
On the day, everything ran smoothly and the food was delicious - we had so many people complimenting us on the food choice. I think everyone was happy to have such a relaxed meal rather than what you would call a normal wedding breakfast with lots of different knives and forks and faffy little dishes. Pie, mash and a lovely pud was exactly what we were after for our outdoorsy tipi wedding. Thanks so much guys, you helped make our day super special.

Humble pie were a great addition to our relaxed marque wedding. We chose 4 amazing pies for our day guests and a hog roast in the evening and didn’t hear anything but compliments from all our guests. The staff were extremely helpful both in the run up and during the big day, answering any of my questions and ensuring all the dietary requirements were met (of which there were loads). A massive thank you to the whole team for helping to make the perfect day for both ourselves and our friends and family.
It really was a great day and everyone loved the pies so thank you!
You did an excellent job serving delicious canapés, and we have been told by numerous guests they were the best they've had.
They then served a delicious meal for us and ran an excellent bar. Their style and attitude was spot on and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We are just home from honeymoon and I wanted to send an email to say a huge thank you to you and your team for all of your help on our wedding day and of course the amazing food! Everyone has commented on how amazing the pies were and all of the food actually, the starters and desserts were amazing too!
And a huge thank you to all of your team for the amazing service, you were all so polite and friendly and we really appreciated all of your efforts.
And the leftover pies in the fridge were amazing for the hangovers the next day too! So thank you!
We will recommend you to anyone who needs a caterer in the future.

Dear Toby,
After 2 years of endless emails - it's finally over!
I just wanted to drop you an email to say thank you SO much for everything you've done towards our wedding, not just on Saturday but in the years planning beforehand.
All of our guests commented on how wonderful the food was - not just the pies but the canapés and desert too! It was the topic of most conversations both during the wedding and the following day!
Your staff were absolutely phonemenal and a real credit to you - they went above and beyond for myself and our guests. Thank you for coordinating and working so well with the barn staff so everything went smoothly with both the food and drinks. Your staff also came and checked with me when I wanted things done, such as the serving of desert to ensure everything went according to plan - which was perfect and very helpful to a perfectionist like myself!
Thank you also for cutting our wedding cake for us - I do apologise for throwing that at you on the day, but again, you and your staff took it in your stride, questioned me to check you were doing everything I wanted and dealt with it quickly and efficiently.
I cannot thank you enough and I will be recommending you to anyone who will listen!

Hope you are all well.
I just wanted to to send you an email to say thank you so so much for everything you and your team did for our wedding, I can't even put into words how thankful we both are for all the effort and hard work you all put into our day.
I have lost count of the number of people who have said how amazing the food was, the scotch eggs in particular have been mentioned to us about a thousand times. The canapes absolutely blew us away, we weren't sure what to expect but you exceeded our expectations.
Lastly I just wanted to mention Verity, I've never been to a wedding and heard so many people talk about the amazing the staff are! She was an absolute star and nothing was too much.

Bottom line, our Wedding day was made extra special because of you. From the hours of planning months before through to dishing up on the big day, you always had everything under control.
